  • Biography

    Patrick Edwards, is the Director of Operations for HAZPlus® - the division of C.L. Smith Company that designs, manufactures, tests and certifies hazardous materials packaging.  Patrick is a Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) and member of several hazardous material industry organizations including IOPP, DGAC, COSTHA, NAHMMA and PRBA where he is a member of the PRBA Transportation Committee. 


    After serving in the United States Navy, Patrick worked for the United States Postal Service before joining the HAZPlus® Division of C.L. Smith in 2006.  Patrick has been instrumental in expanding the product offering and custom UN packaging capabilities of HAZPlus®.  Patrick has had the opportunity to work very closely with the Lyons Blow Molding Division of C.L. Smith Company where he has gained some very specific experience with blow molded HDPE containers in Hazardous Material applications.  


    HAZPlus® has grown to be an industry leader in providing packaging solutions in accordance with applicable regulatory standards related to the transport of dangerous goods.  Although HAZPlus is a resource for nearly all types of Hazardous Material packaging; blow molded HDPE containers are a core area of focus and experience.
