2026 Conference Overview

The Westin Chicago North Shore will be the site of the 41st Annual Blow Molding Conference, October 5-7, 2026. Situated along the Des Plaines River and located just 16 miles North of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, The Westin Chicago North Shore is in the prestigious North Shore district with several high-end bars and restaurants just outside the hotel.

Conference Registration

ABC 2026 full conference registration is $650 and includes all sessions, exhibits, meals, refreshment breaks, and receptions. Attendees also received attendee lists and conference presentations. Exhibitor registration includes complimentary registrations. Annual Lewis E. Ferguson Blow Molded Parts Competition

On an annual basis, the SPE Blow Molding Division celebrates the latest industry advancements and innovations in blow molding design and applications. The deadline for submissions is August 15, 2026.  Click here for more information.

Annual Student Design Competition

The Society of Plastics Engineers SPE Blow Molding Division conducts an Annual Student Design Contest to promote interest in blow molding applications.  The Blow Molding Division offers $1,000 for 1st prize to a student or group of students who submit the winning entry. Honorable Mention may also be awarded to recognize other entries. A travel allowance is also offered so the winner(s) can present their proposal in a poster at an upcoming SPE Annual Blow Molding.
