ALPS Inspection Scholarship
The ALPS Inspection Scholarship provides a $2500 award to an undergraduate student with experience in blow molding, packaging, and/or recycyling. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students. Apply here.
The SPE Foundation offers numerous scholarships to students who have demonstrated or expressed an interest in the plastics industry. All applicants must be in good standing with their colleges and a member of in SPE (free to all students).

Sarah Witte, University of Arizona
Sarah Witte attends the University of Arizona where she studies systems engineering with a minor in biosystems engineering and food studies. This summer, she is participating in a research cohort for the ROOTS program, which involves researching light wavelength effects on lettuce plants at UA’s Controlled Environment Agriculture Center. This experience has supported her effort to go into the food manufacturing industry as many plastics and quality controls go into the process of making commercial food. Sarah resides in Phoenix, AZ, and loves cooking, art, and community service in her free time.
