Speaker Biography:

In 2000, after acquiring experience in a company that specialized in mechanical construction and metal structural work for industry, Rolando Fantini transitioned to the plastics as the Technical Director for Meccanoplastica Group Italy. Since 2011, Rolando has been the President and CEO of the company and still in charge of technical operations.

Meccanoplastica is a continuous extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding and stretch blow moulding machines maker. Extrusion blow moulding is the core business since the beginning of the company.

I

n 2002, Meccanoplastica was the first company to introduce to the market the technology to run an all-electric IBM machine model, Rolando developed this technology for the company. Since 2011, the company has produced all electric Re-Heat Stretch Blow Moulding machines too.

Rolando holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florence (Italy).
