Panelist Biography:

I grew up in Northwest Arkansas, attending the University of Arkansas gaining a bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science and a Master’s Degree in Agriculture Economics. I started my career as an intern on the Chicago Board of Trade for Olam International working on their grain and dairy trading desk where I learned the basics of price risk management and financial/physical commodity hedging practices. Since then I have worked for Nestle and ConAgra in various commodity categories managing price risk and physical procurement, all with focus on tradeable/hedgable commodities. I have now been with Mars for 5 years where my career came full circle and I started managing the procurement of all poultry proteins for the Mars Petcare NA business. Near the end of 2020, I took a role leading all procurement efforts for Mars Fishcare. My team is responsible for procuring chemicals, raw materials, feed stock and packaging that is used for all of the various products in our Aquatics Portfolio. I currently live in Nashville with my girlfriend and 2 dogs.
