Today, plastic waste has become a nuisance in the world. It is the responsibility of everyone in the supply-chain to work together on circular economy and sustainability. Use of PCR in the packaging must be encouraged. Differentiation on the crowded shelf by unique design can drive Growth opportunities of a company. Since more and more consumers are buying on-line, packaging requirements have changed and the robust packaging must address the many touch points and transportation during e-commerce.

Speaker Biography:

Hersh Agarwal currently serves as a Director at the Creative Group of Industries, one of India’s largest rigid packaging manufacturers. At Creative, he oversees the special projects division tasked with driving growth and efficiency.

Hersh has previously worked as an Engagement Manager at Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), a tech company that was acquired by MasterCard. At APT, he helped drive millions in top and bottom line improvement for Fortune 500 clients such as General Motors, Best Buy Co., Ascena Retail, CKE Restaurants etc. Hersh graduated magna cum laude with an engineering degree from Northwestern University. Outside of work, he is passionate about the environment and cricket.
