Speaker Biography:
Michael Minc is the Director of Energy & Manufacturing at Verusen, an Atlanta-based AI company that is transforming MRO supply chains and asset reliability with the power of purpose-built AI. Verusen unlocks stranded working capital for asset-intensive operations by harmonizing disparate material and spend data across disconnected enterprise systems — helping global manufacturers reduce risk, improve uptime, and generate immediate cash savings. In his role, Michael partners with Fortune 1000 manufacturers to streamline their indirect materials management strategy, an increasingly critical priority for blow molders and the broader plastics industry as they navigate rising input costs, sustainability mandates, and the digital transformation of the shop floor.
Michael's career has been built on one thing: helping asset-intensive industries turn technology investments into real operational results. Over 25 years, he has done this both as a hands-on practitioner and as an executive leader — building and leading the teams, strategies, and organizations that provide real impact across industries, including industrial manufacturing, food & beverage, aerospace, healthcare, and power generation, through the full journey of adopting and scaling enterprise technology, digitizing workflows, and driving measurable cost transformation. Prior to Verusen, Michael spent nearly 18 years at Stanley Black & Decker in progressive leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales at Stanley Storage Solutions, Director of Business Development for CAISSON (an intrapreneurial startup advancing technology adoption in commercial construction), and Director of Sales & Commercialization for DEWALT Connected Systems, where he led the launch of an industry-first IoT platform. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies from Clayton State University, where he was a full-time student-athlete. Michael resides in metro Atlanta, GA with his wife and two children.
Presentation Description:
Determining the optimal budget and optimal level of spare parts inventory each of your facilities should plan for and stock is often a hidden iceberg of risk and stranded working capital that operational and financial leaders constantly grapple with. Ensuring your operations have the right parts, at the right price, in the right place, with the right planning, and at the right time isn't something a spreadsheet or even your ERP / CMMS system was designed to handle. Join this session to learn how purpose-built AI solutions are being used to complement existing systems-of-record to take cost and risk out of their operations. Attendees will walk through industry case studies and learn how their existing historical data, trapped inside their existing systems can be harnessed to unlock efficiency and cash.
