The integration of automation for secondary operations after blow molding is essential for maintaining a competitive advantage. Automation drives efficiency, enhances product quality, and reduces operational costs.
This presentation will review the considerations necessary to plan, design, build, and install a successful custom automation solution in a blow molding manufacturing environment. A case study will be used to demonstrate these concepts in practice.
Speaker Biography:
David Mravyan is the Director of Engineering at Minatech Inc., located in Woodbridge, ON, Canada. Minatech, founded by David's father, specializes in manufacturing custom automated robotic and inspection solutions for the blow molding industry.
David holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University and an MBA from Western University. He has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of automated machine concept development, design, production, programming, commissioning, and support.
David’s insights, dedication, and engineering skills have helped customers increase production output, improve product quality, standardize secondary operations, and address labor shortages with innovative custom solutions.
