Speaker Biography:
Dr. Surendra Agarwal is the founder of Creative Group of Industries, one of the largest blow molders in India. Surendra holds a B.S in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and an M.S and Ph. D. degree in Polymer Science & Engineering from MIT
With over 30 years of professional expertise in the field of plastics, Surendra has been very fortunate to work across the supply chain both working and consulting for resins manufacturers, machines manufacturers, mold makers, converters, and end-users.
Surendra is responsible for the development of the first Plastic Beer bottle introduced nationally by the Miller Brewing Co. in 1999. He invented the first plastic bumper material for GE plastics. He has over 30 patents, several publications, and awards for technical innovations to his credit. His innovative work has resulted in savings of hundreds of millions of dollars.
