Recognition for Excellence in Blow Molding
Established in 2021 by the SPE Blow Molding Division Board, The Recognition of Excellence for Blow Molding, given in conjunction with the Annual Blow Molding Conference, highlights a regional molder that appears to be looking forward and embracing the core values to promote the blow molding craft and industry. Criteria include regional molders that display innovation in their blow molding activities and make capital investments in their operations while growing and engaging their employees.
2023 Awardee
When Robert Schoeneck started his first blow molding company with his brother-in law in 1959, it was one of the few blow molding operations in the U.S. But even then, Robert saw the promise of plastic packaging. When he founded Schoeneck Containers (now Radius Packaging) on his own in 1972, he focused on advancing blow molding and plastic packaging technology for his customers. Ever since, the company has continued to evolve as an industry leader centered on the customers’ success.
