Presentation Description:

This session will provide an overview of the extrusion blow molding process specific to shuttle type machinery. Topics covered will include the extrusion system. Mechanical (shuttle) system, and processing considerations.


Speaker Biography:

Joe Slenk graduated from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan, in 2007 with a B.S. in Plastics Engineering Technology. He joined Bekum America Corporation shortly thereafter as a Sales Project Engineer.

 
In 2010, pursuing his interest in blow molding development projects, Joe joined Bekum’s Applications Department as an Applications Engineer. He has participated in and managed numerous laboratory trials with regard to resin testing, and product development, as well as production blow molding machine optimization and line qualification. Joe also serves as a member of Ferris State University’s Plastics Industrial Advisory Committee.
