Speaker Biographies:

Pietro Spiga is an accomplished professional in the field of Technical Sales and Marketing, with a focus on Electrotechnical, Automation and Processing of plastic materials. Born on 1994 in Italy, Pietro passion for technology and innovation has driven him lifestyle.

 

With a strong educational background, Pietro embarked on his professional journey in 2014 when he joined Injenia (the biggest Google partner in Italy) as a Computer Technician. During his time there, he played a crucial role in designing IT structures for the management system of company resources. Following this, Pietro transitioned to Magic in November 2015, where he served first, as a technician in Magic All-Electric Blow Molding machines and after as a Technical Sales & Marketing Manager, specializing in All-Electric Magic Blow Molding machines for the North American market.

 

Prior to his work at Injenia, Pietro gained valuable experience as an App Developer, at a press agency, where he designed and developed a mobile app for a computerized newspaper. He also worked as a Plant Maintenance Technician Internship Program in Dubai, where he was responsible for maintaining automation machinery for the production of plastic bottles.

 

He graduated from the Industrial Technical Institute in 2014 in Italy, specializing in Electrotechnical and Automation. He attended the International Conference in India in 2015, representing Magic in the plastics sector, and received specialized training in All-Electric Magic Blow Molding machines.

 

Pietro is a driven and versatile professional, continually striving for excellence in the field with his educational background, extensive work experience, and diverse skill set. Recently he accomplished the programs at MIT - Sustainability / Strategies and Opportunities for Industry and at MSU - School of Packaging to continue his contribution to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable bottles.


Celestino Spiga has been in the blow molding field since 1979, beginning his career just after he completed his studies at the Industrial Metal/Mechanic Institute of Ferrara, Italy. Celestino spent the first ten years of his career in machine design, mold and tooling design, R&D, and as a Technical Manager. Later, he moved to the United States where he worked as a Product Manager at Unloy for several years, eventually working in Sales and Marketing developing new markets all over the world serving blow molding companies.

Several years ago, Celestino started working for Magic where he is now in charge of the North America market. He also manages a showroom, office, parts, and services in their facility in Michigan.
