Presentation Description:

State legislatures around the country are actively pursuing policies directly impacting the broader plastics industry. From new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs for packaging, mandates to use more recycled material in packaging, and prohibitions on certain types of plastics and chemical ingredients such as PFAS, the level of legislative activity in the states is at an all-time high. This session will highlight the policy issues, challenges, and opportunities that are front and center for the industry and discuss how you can add your voice to the industry’s political advocacy at the state level.
