Presentation Description:
Whether through consumer, customer, or political pressure, the plastics industry is challenged to grow and evolve into one that is more circular. This presentation will discuss recent consumer polling, and provide an overview of international, federal, and state sustainability policies including ESG reporting, EPR, minimum recycled content, and material/product restrictions.
Speaker Biography:
Patrick Krieger is the Director of Regulatory and Technical Affairs at the Plastics Industry Association where he leads the Bioplastics Division in advocating for the growth of the bioplastics industry. He joined the PLASTICS in March 2015 and prior to that worked for the Animal Health Institute. He graduated from Texas A&M in 2007.
